Awesome Osprey Analyzing and Sharing Data

Data is to be submitted via the Awesome Osprey Data Survey Monkey by 6pm Mountain Standard Time on Friday, May 18th, 2018. Dunrovin Ranch will create a Master Data Sheet-Excel and email it to teachers before Tuesday May 28, 2019. The Master Data Sheet-Excel will include observations from all project participants and can be used to answer the research question.

How much time does the male osprey incubate the eggs relative to the female?

Teachers determine the grade appropriate methods for analyzing the data and answering the research question. The Master Data Sheet-Excel will be a rich source of information for students to address additional research questions. For example, how many fish, on average, are brought to the nest each day? How often does Hal use the perch relative to Harriet?

We hope that you will share your methods with everyone else in the Awesome Osprey Project Discussion Board where you can post photos, chats, and graphs that your class creates during the course of the project.
