Great American Criminal Trials 2019
Criminal trials reflect a country’s times, culture, society, political, and judicial system. Taking a deep dive into some of American’s great criminal trials is yo travel through time to relive the important issues of the day, to understand the political undertones, to meet important historical figures, and to tease apart the influence such trials had on subsequent legal decisions and societal trends. D@D is very fortunate to have Larry Mensch as our personal guide for these forays in American’s legal past.
Larry is an attorney, a student of history, and an author of several historical books. He not only reads books and articles, watches videos, visits museums, and attends historical lectures, but he travels widely to spend time among historical landmarks, both those that are widely known and those that are little known. He stays long enough to “get a feel” for the place, understand its people, and find the historical details that bring the stories alive and document the ripples through time and culture. Besides that, he is an enthusiastic teacher and a compelling speaker. He loves his subject and he loves getting other involved with it.
Please join Larry for three Great American Trials that demonstrate the power of two of America’s most famous defense attorneys, Clarence Darrow and F. Lee Bailey. Click HERE for details and to join the fun. Don’t be late. The program is in full swing during the months of March and April.
